we got a new female rat for a companion to the first female rat.
we put them together and the first one kept humping the new one! They are both girls!
it was so funny, it was like the first one couldnt control herself like she didnt even know what was happening.
i feel like i got her facial expression perfect.
like, "whats happening to me!!?"
on the other hand the new rat was completely submissive.
nature is fun.

I had two female rats and they used to hump each other like crazy and seemed to get much enjoyment out of it. One of them died and some number of months later I got another female rat to keep my other rat company, and I have not once seen them go at each other, though they seem to get along fine and even sleep curled up together and groom each other and the like.
I don't know what the point of that is... Kind of interesting, though.
